Financial transactions are exchanges of payment for products or services. They form an important part of the running of a Hospitality business. The correct recording of the sales and purchases is essential to the success of the business.

Your duties may include managing a cash float, posting charges, taking payments, issuing receipts and undertaking balancing procedures. It is important that you pay careful attention at all times, so that you can ensure accuracy of your financial transactions. Customers will not be happy if they are overcharged, or short-changed.
