Events and functions are a key driver of the tourism and hospitality industry. Most events, regardless of whether they are a cultural, community, sporting or tourism occasion, will require some type of catering. Events may be conducted in-house or at sites that do not have catering facilities, which requires contracted caterers to be brought in. Either way, the catering component requires a lot of consideration and detail and contributes to the overall perception and success of the occasion.
